Great atmosphere on weekends. Delicious food. The beach and view of the lake adds to the ambiance. I have been there only 3 times so far but it is one of the nicer restaurants in Wisconsin.

Awful service. Painfully slow.

HORRIBLE service and wait staff was very unfriendly. They also were out of several appetizer items the couple of times we wanted to order food there. They clearly don't care that they are not running a successful restaurant as the female owner was extremely unwelcoming.

Food was very overpriced. Had a new waitress who was really good though.

I would truly love to give this restaurant a zero. The staff have apparently not received sufficient training or the owner does not care!! Service was horrible and several menu items were not available. What a shame for visitors and condo owners with such a beautiful lake view! We will not be back.

The bath room you have to use when you are at the outdoor bar is gross! All they have is one bath room for everyone and it's just a pool bathroom! When they have a band there are lot of people and a long wait for a really disgusting experience!

Incredible! My wife and I were with our service dogs and the staff greeted us with 2 buckets of water for our service dogs and welcomed us. The food was excellent and our waitress was the best Customer service we had seen in long time. We can't say enough great things about this place. We will be going back again

We stopped at the outside bar for a drink. There were only 4 customers there and 2 bartenders, yet neither one would wait on us, wouldn’t even acknowledge us. We left after a couple minutes of being completely ignored. This used to be a great place 😔

Horrible steak and service.

Fun place to stop by and get a drink when your on the water. Restaurant has some inconsistencies with staff and hours. Call first. Outside bar area is fun.

Fried food wasn't cooked all the way.

Really really good food, good prices too, and most of all very attentive friendly staff. I highly recommend Portofino Bay! An I most certainly will be back many times.

Pizza was fantastic!

If you want to be kicked out of a restaurant for no other reason then wearing a fraternity shirt come here. Sat down ordered drinks with no problem. 2 minutes later the owner approached our table claiming one of our patrons "pissed all over the bathroom". Kicked us out and threatened to call the cops. When we asked to show us where the urinating occurred he said "get out of my restaurant" and refused to show where his "damages" occurrd". So if you want kicked out by the local townies because they don't like out of state patrons attend this establishment. Disgraceful patrons, pathetic ownership and sad business model. If you want to be treated like a second class citizen patronize this establishment. A farce of a business and a sad excuse for entrepreneurship.

5-Star view...How do you own such a nice place with beautiful views of Castle Rock Lake and mess it up? We've been there 3 times and each time come away shaking our heads in disbelief. We have a cold drink (service is poor get your own at the bar) on the patio and leave. Have no idea how they stay in business.

We went on a Saturday night, they were slammed with people, and could not deal with the crowd. My food came out cold but when it came back was delicious. Good place, but struggles when busy.

Food was okay. Expensive. Ordered dessert and it was frozen. Probably not returning for dinner again.

Worst spaghetti I ever had we had, a newby bartender that did not know how to mix drinks ... but a beautiful place ...great band entertainment

We have eaten there twice and have been disappointed each time. The first time was winter and it was so cold in the dining room that we had to eat with our coats on. We mentioned it to the wait staff but nothing was done about it. The second time was this summer and it took a long time to be served and when the food finally came, it was cold.

Food and people were very nice.

The view and outdoor seating was amazing...and the restaurant very nicely decorated inside. We were the only 3 customers in the entire restaurant, at 7:30. There were 3 servers in view and it took forever for us to get a server and we waited even longer for the drinks. We were the only people in there! Food came out relatively fast and was good. Drink refills during dinner were ridiculously slow again😠. I'd hate to be here if there were TWO tables to wait on AT ONCE!!

Prettiest spot on the lake. Great bar both inside and out. Sand beach for kids to play on, pool, great docking for boats. Our meal was wonderful. We had fish fry, great service, great food. This place has struggled with food service in the past but they have it figured out now so don't let the negative reviews scare you.

We had a waiter, the only man serving, that was attentive, friendly, quick to refill drinks, my wife and I thought he was probably the best waiter we've ever had. The food was excellent, and fair priced, the view is fantastic. Their dock is the best dock of any restaurant on the lake.

The Lasagna, was overcooked, and cold. The beef sandwich was very good, but the French fries were cold. You need to remedy this situation if you want more people to return to the restaurant.

Service was extremely slow. 15 minutes before a server acknowledged our presence. Only 4th table in place. Took a long time to get food, which was expensive for what you got. Appetizers delivered without plates. Server told us there wasn't bread, but hostess was able to give 4 other tables bread. We were told they were out of mashed potatoes, but we could get baked potatoes. Couldn't those have been mashed? Won't be returning.

The food was really good and our waitress was awesome, very attentive and even compt my mom a salad because her cod was small. The view and the live music made my night. I will definitely be returning again and again.

Nothing really stands out as above or below average. A typical lakeside up north restaurant.

As of late May, they were limited to serving pizza because of winter damage in the restaurant. Only the outdoor bar was in service with no draft beer. 5 bartenders were behind the bar serving about a total of 20 customers, yet I waited about 5 minutes to purchase a canned beer and soda refill. I'm assuming there was a lot of training needed, being early in the season and also unfortunate they had no food to sell. I credit them for being committed to live music despite their limited options for food and drink.

Nothing going on but 2 locals and some grumpy employees. Unfriendly. Try Shipwrecked instead.

Elvis Fest!!! Got to see several friends perform! Beautiful place. Sit on the dock ,beach or at the outdoor bar!

Worst owner-customer relations hands down. Last August, we booked a pontoon rental for the day. 5 minutes out on the lake and the motor died. We called back and asked them to come tow us, but they were too busy to help us out. After 2 hours, a passing boat was kind enough to tow us back. Once we got back, the mg on-site was decent about our experience and comped us some appetizers, however, our day of boating was ruined. He then got on the phone with the owner, and got approval for a free boat rental voucher for this year. When we called to book for our upcoming annual trip, the owner said that the mgr that day wasn't authorized to comp anything, even though he had authorized it himself last summer. I think it's more likely that he doesn't want to honor his voucher. This is the last place I would recommend renting from. We are beyond disappointed.
